Front Page of the Columbus Dispatch — A Full Circle Moment
I’m still honestly trying to process this… but I had the honor of being featured on the front cover of the Columbus Dispatch this past Sunday, and it’s a moment I won’t forget anytime soon.
The article, written by Amani Bayo, highlights my social media journey and features a few other incredible creators doing amazing work here in the Columbus area. What made it even more surreal? I had no idea it was going to be on the front cover until people started texting and DMing me photos of the paper. Such a wild surprise, in the best way.
Growing up in Columbus, the Dispatch has always been a staple. Seeing myself on the front page of the very paper I grew up around… it’s one of those moments that makes you pause and appreciate how far things have come.
Why This Means So Much
I started sharing content about Ohio, especially Columbus, because I genuinely love where I’m from. Over time, it’s grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. I’ve been able to partner with brands and businesses I truly align with, travel around the state, meet incredible people, and share the best food, hidden gems, local adventures, and relatable Midwest moments with all of you.
Social media has become more than just a creative outlet, it’s become a way to tell stories, build community, and highlight the parts of Ohio that deserve more love and attention. And I’m just getting started.
What’s Next
This feature is a big milestone for me, but it’s also just one step in the bigger journey. I’m excited to continue expanding the kind of content I create, not just around things to do in Ohio, but also more about my personal life, what I care about, and the things that make me, me.
Thank you to everyone who has ever followed, liked, commented, or supported anything I’ve shared, truly. I wouldn’t be here without you, and I don’t take that lightly. This is only the beginning.
Now… let’s get back to work.
Big things ahead.
